Pictures of the weekend zen meditation retreat between 27 September and 1 October

Accommodation for men and women. Big house equipped with bathroom and kitchen. Both houses have powerful furnaces.

On Sunday, September 12 we visited an old stone-mine on the other side of the Danube river. After two days of constant rain, in the morning of our trip, the clouds fade away and sun started to shine. We all enjoyed the perfect "indian summer". At the end, we had a wonderful lunch in the best pizzeria in our area.

Wedding Ceremony for Alexander Lurye and Valentina Poltorak, who came for this event all the way from Israel. Very heart-warming gathering and ceremony!

On Sunday, August 29, we were invited by a Sangha friend to fly with a 2-person airplane. Our Sangha friend has a pilot-licence for basically all Hungarians types of airplanes. Almost all of us joined and we had an unforgettable experience.

Seven residents of our temple went on a trip in order to visit main organic garden in our area, learn new know-how and gain some new inspiration.

Experimental week with zen practice (bowing, chanting and meditation), together with everyday yoga practice, cooking and communication workshops.

Carpenters dismounted the temporary roof and mounted the future roof structure. Later in Feb/March the traditional korean roof-tiles will be added.

The major interior work has been finished. We started to practice in our new Zen Hall.

Changing room and the corridor have been finished. Wall-paper work continues in the main hall.

Living in our temple means practice and work together, but also sharing many wonderful, relaxing and joyful moments...

The construction started in July 2009 and the building was finished in October 2009. It is a seat of temple management, as well as temple library, with hot-desks for guests.

Started in Autumn 2006, finished in Spring 2008. There is the temple kitchen, bathrooms, furnace room and temporary office.

Enjoy the virtual tour through the temple buildings and interiors, such as kitchen, bathrooms, dormitories, interview room, etc.

During summer, most of our daily meals come from our organic garden. As the fruit and veggies get ripe, we make fruit jams and vegetable preserves for the winter.

Throughout the years a lot of guests visited our temple for shorter or longer time. It always brought mutual refreshment and great support in our efforts.

Land Purification Ceremony, end of Winter Kyol Che 2008

This was a ceremony lead by Sol Jong Kunsunim of Su Dok Sa Temple, Korea, with many monks and western Sangha members present. The pictures were taken while raising the first beam of the future Zen Hall, endowed with a blessing calligraphy.
